DaisyCares provides an empowering presentations to school aged children in schools, after school programs, and other activities.

This project promotes kindness to animals by way of an interactive group activities adjusted to meet the age(s) of the specific group of children and allocated time.

Update March 2020: We know that measures to reduce transmission of COVID-19 (coronavirus) means our students are learning from home. Parents are welcome to use these resources to teach children responsible pet ownership and engage in hands on activities. Please feel free to submit a photo of your activity to maria@daisycares.com or upload to social media tagging @daisycares and using hashtag #daisycares .

How to Schedule a Visit

You can now register for virtual Project Kindness classes! Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday and will feature Daisy’s Barn.

If you would like to schedule a virtual Project Kindness class from DaisyCares to your school, after school program or to plan an activity, please fill out this form. 

Volunteer with Project Kindness – offsite presentations

Limited Availability

DaisyCares provides animal welfare education to children through Project Kindness. Volunteers are able to help with presentation activities. Volunteers can also be trained to give these presentations by DaisyCares.

This program teaches children year round and volunteer opportunities are subject to the requirements of each individual site.

DaisyCares Patch Program

This program was launched in 2019 by Girl Scout Sarah Rudolph as part of her Gold Award. The requirements for a patch are that each student partakes in a Project Kindness presentation and donates 20lbs of pet food. More details are found here: YouthPatchProgram
