Daisy’s Paws for a Cause 2013 – Fall Fest

Daisy’s Paws for a Cause 2013 Fall Fest was established by a group of seven students enrolled in a Small Group Communications Course at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Their project was to conduct a fundraiser for a local non-profit organization. They chose DaisyCares and for that we are truly grateful. The event consisted of raffles, a pet costume contest, a face painting and picture booth, balloon characters and great music. The event was a success and they raised close to $3,000 in donations and in-kind donations from businesses such as HEB, Mi Tierra Restaurant, La Margarita Restaurant, Woof Gang Bakery, and Polished Pups. DaisyCares is forever thankful to the UTSA students that made this event possible!
