At DaisyCares, we believe that no family should have to surrender a beloved pet due to financial hardship. That’s why we created the DaisyCares Pet Food Program—a lifeline for families experiencing economic challenges, ensuring their dogs and cats continue to receive the food and care they need.

The DaisyCares Pet Food Program provides access to free pet food for dogs and cats through a network of local partners, including:

• San Antonio Food Bank
• Regional food pantries
• Quarterly direct distribution events hosted by DaisyCares

By collaborating with pet food manufacturers, retail partners, and generous donors, DaisyCares collects and distributes thousands of pounds of pet food to families in need across San Antonio and surrounding counties.

DaisyCares is proud to work alongside the San Antonio Food Bank through a powerful partnership that extends our reach and impact. Here’s how it works:

• DaisyCares collects pet food donations from corporate and community partners.
• The San Antonio Food Bank distributes a portion of that food to over 800 pantry agencies across the region.
• With support of the San Antonio Food BanK, DaisyCares also hosts quarterly pet food distributions, giving pet owners direct access to essential supplies.

Although DaisyCares and the San Antonio Food Bank are independent nonprofits, our shared mission unites us: keeping pets out of shelters and in loving homes.
