Volunteer with DaisyCares

Make a Difference for Pets and the People Who Love Them

Volunteers are the heart of DaisyCares. Whether you’re organizing a pet food drive, helping at an event, or inspiring kids through animal welfare education, your time and compassion make a real impact. Explore the ways you can get involved below!

Host a Pet Food or Supply Drive

We’re always looking for passionate volunteers to sponsor pet food and supply drives at:

  • Local businesses
  • Schools and churches
  • Private events and parties
  • Any other creative venues in your community!

Hosting a drive is a fun, meaningful way to bring people together and directly support families and pets in need.

Volunteer at Community Events

Throughout the year, DaisyCares participates in community events, pet expos, and donation drives—and we need your help! From setup and greeting to handing out resources, event volunteers are essential to our outreach efforts. Want to stay in the loop about upcoming opportunities?

Help Educate the Next Generation with Project Kindness

Project Kindness is DaisyCares’ signature education initiative that brings animal welfare presentations to schools and youth groups across the community—all year long.

Volunteers can:

  • Assist during presentations
  • Be trained to lead presentations on behalf of DaisyCares
  • Help inspire kindness, responsibility, and compassion in young minds

If you’re passionate about animals and enjoy working with children, this is a powerful way to give back.

Ready To Help?

We’d love to welcome you to the DaisyCares volunteer family.
Whether you’re available once a year or every month, there’s a place for you here.

The Great Danes are family. They’re our children.

Discovering the partnership with DaisyCares has been a blessing. I don’t know what we would do without this assistance.
