FAQs

DaisyCares is a 501(c)(3) corporation that is committed to helping needy pets by providing pet food, pet supplies and veterinary care. DaisyCares also educates children in the community about kindness to animals by visiting schools, after-school programs and other activities for children.

DaisyCares was created to reduce the number of abandoned, neglected and euthanized pets by helping needy families keep and care for their pets. DaisyCares’ approach to helping pets is “pre-abandonment”, so that pets are able to stay at home with their families (and out of pounds and shelters). DaisyCares also strives to reduce animal cruelty by educating children about kindness to animals.

DaisyCares partners with food banks and food pantries to provide pet food to needy families. Information over assistance can be found here.
